Happy 15th Birthday Baby Bug!

My Bug turned 15 years old today. It was a rather quiet birthday and thank goodness everyone got along fine.

His main present was a Wii game and he chose Betty Crocker's Reese's Peanut Butter "cake" and Subway subs for his dinner. I wish we could have taken him to Red Lobster (his usual request) but he understands that money is tight right now. He played all day on the computer and I'm going to let him get on mine when I go to bed - he'll play WoW with his dad.

Yesterday was a busy day, we took care of Patches and then went shopping at Volde-mart. Totally wore me out. (I hate that store.) Didn't get everything we needed but got a lot anyway. Stuck to our list mostly, thank goodness.

Treated the four of us to Hardee's for lunch. The one on Lane Avenue is also a Red Burrito and had a special - beef or chicken taco salad, 2 for $5. We bought two of each - Petunia and I had the chicken, the boys had the beef. OMGs, those salads were not only BIG, they were very generous with the meat (about the equivalent to a whole grilled chicken breast in the salad) and quite tasty. We tasted both the beef and the chicken and all agree that, both were good, the chicken was better. One heck of a bargain at 2 for 5, because those salads are normally $4.50 each. Definitely couldn't make four at home for a total of $10.70 (w/tax).
