Where did today go?

Well, did my errands yesterday. Picked up a book at the library, mailed a BCX book from the post office, swung by the bank, and went to Publix.

Bug fixed the Tostito Pie for dinner last night. I think with the couple of changes we made, it turned out better than the first time.

After dinner, I ran to my friend's house and took her dog out and fed the cats. I spent some time talking to them. Had to call their mom and ask if she had any bags of candy laying around because I had found a couple of chocolate wrappers on the floor by the dog's bed. We talked about it and decided she must have taken them out of a garbage can. Got up early this morning and went back there. This time both cats met me at the back door, demanding food. LOL I fed them and then looked for Freya, the dog. Freaked out for a second but found her on her parents bed fast asleep. I woke her up, carefully (LOL) and took her outside. I wanted her to run around and play for a bit but couldn't find a ball - I did find a football which I kicked in her direction. Guess what? Yep, she plays football! LOL We had a good time kicking the ball and fetching it. (Well, I did not do any fetching. *rolls eyes*) Later on in the afternoon, I went back and took her out again and played. My friends will be home later this afternoon so everyone will be fine.

I didn't get to have coffee this morning because I was in a hurry and we were out of creamer, so I swung by Winn-Dixie and picked some up, along with some corn dogs for lunch. Haven't had those in a long time - was fun having them again.

Today's gone by pretty fast. This whole weekend has, actually. The noise levels have been low - surprising since the Air Show at NAS Jax went on all weekend. I thought I'd have been hearing a lot more flyovers, but I guess they were keeping them very close to base.
