Cats, Jax, and the Plastic Princess

The kids all had a blast bowling yesterday! The bowling alley was clean and very comfortable. There was a summer camp on one end, but they sat us on the other side so we weren't inundated with kids. LOL Petunia and Lily had the kiddy bumpers on their lanes but Bug and Bear didn't. All 3 of my kids LOVE bowling and, while they aren't champs (none got over 100 score lol), they all show signs of talent. Definitely more graceful than I am when it comes to sports. Bug got 3 strikes in a row and even Petunia picked up a couple of spares! (Petunia's big problem wasn't her technique, it was her getting too excited and dropping the ball. LOL This is one sport where she's pretty much equal being a lefty!) I'm hoping we can do this again soon. I know Sharky would love to bowl with the kids. I'm happy just cheering them all on.

Afterwards, C took us to El Potro for lunch and we all had the buffet. Kids ate a lot but I was good and did not over eat and I ate smart. Afterwards, gassed up at a BP that was a nickel cheaper than the Gate at home and drove back. I wasn't in the house long before I started to get very nauseated and eventually, I threw up. Unfortunately, I threw up in the hallway in front of the bathroom and in the tub. Bug was my special angel and was right behind me the whole time, cleaning up. I never asked him to - he just did it. Later on, I had some juice and crackers and was able to keep them down. I don't know why I threw up. I was very angry about it because for once, I paid attention and did all the right things and still got sick! *grumble*

C gave us a huge bag of odds & ends dolls & clothes from her mom and Petunia and I had fun going through it. Petunia scored a lot of cool "new" dolls, all the clothing and a My Scene Chelsea with her Vespa! I got a repro #1 Barbie that just needs a bit of TLC to look snappy again. C also found me a Nutcracker Black Cat Witch! Totally bizarre and very adorable. She also found a large votive shaped like a cat pumpkin. She knows how much I love stuff like that and she's always finding odd things at yard sales and thrift stores, etc.

Not sure what we are going to do, definitely will go to Publix because it's the last day of a good sale and I have some coupons for some B1G1F items I want to take advantage of.
