A Georger friend of mine, Drauka, wrote a true story in his blog, called The Blind Date from Hell. It's disgusting and hilarious and quite pathetic. I don't know who to feel sorry for more, him or the date... LOL
As you can see by my find above, we went to Publix today and saved a buttload of money on groceries. Lots of stuff was b1g1f and we stocked up. Some stuff, like graham crackers and fruit snacks, are usually expensive, but you can't resist them on sale. Best deal of all, Near East brand couscous & pilaf mixes were b1g1f too - bought 8 deals. LOL
Ran to the library and picked up the 4 books Bear had ordered - all Manga. I didn't know, but "authentic" Japanese Manga is written to be read from right to left, even if it's in English. Very cool. He's already read one and is looking forward to starting the next. Well, I know they are "comic books" but at least he's reading, right? LOL That's all that really counts. While we were at the library, we saw this really cool hard-top MGB. It appears to be totally original. I don't think I've ever seen a hard top MGB in real life before...
