Had fun yesterday with Mom. Went to the strip outlet mall first, then she bought us lunch at Wendy's. I was good and had a salad (Chicken BLT) and was impressed with how good it was. The greens were very fresh and the grilled chicken was quite moist and tender. Afterwards, we went to the Prime One outlet across the interstate.

Kids racked up clothes. Rue 21 had some great shirts and hoodies on their $5 rack and Vanity Fair had Wrangler blue jeans for less than $10, so each boy got a pair of jeans and a couple of shirts. Mom bought Petunia a couple of cute shirts and they found a black velvet & faux fur hoodie for her as well. LOL I bought a super sturdy colander from a kitchen store to replace the stupid mesh ones that we keep breaking and a new can opener that doesn't cut the top, but the sides of the can, to prevent you from cutting your fingers.

I treated the kids to "Arctic Freezes" (aka slushies) at DQ on the way home and was a very bad girl - I got a caramel Moo-latte for myself. That stuff is like drugs - a coffee milkshake with caramel and whipped cream - it was so delicious it was almost unbelievable. Thank goodness there is no DQ around here to tempt me!

Stormed on the way down and then there was a horrid thunderstorm just as we got to the inside mall. It let up by the time we left, just sprinkled on the way home. Called sDad to tell him we got home ok and he said Mom stopped at a shoe store on the way home and was trapped inside by the storm. Yuck! LOL

Totally pooped out when I got home. It's not a bad drive, up and down I-95, but it is very stressful especially coming home during rush hour traffic.

Bug cooked us a wonderful dinner last night. Whiting fillets (dusted in flour and seasoning), battered scallops, cheese & jalapeƱo hush puppies and broccoli, all cooked to perfection.
