Another long night. I went to sleep before midnight, but Sharky and the kids stayed up to almost 1:00 a.m. watching movies and having fun. Every time someone woke me up (on purpose or accidental) it totally freaked me out. Scared Sharky a bit.

Spent most of yesterday in and out of pain. Bug over-browned some eggs in the morning and it made me so nauseas I could barely stand it. I was sort of ok with lunch, didn't have an afternoon snack so ate too fast and too much at dinner and was in freaking agony for hours. Ate four Tums and finally broke down and had two pain pills, which took their sweet time with the pain but left me nauseas for a while.

Sharky's getting ready for work tomorrow, so he took Joan Jetta up to the gas station and filled her up. Forty dollars later, the stupid thing wouldn't START. He pushed her into a parking space and walked home (just a couple of blocks). Before dinner, he drove up there and she started, so he came home and I drove him back and guess what? Yep, she wouldn't start again, so we came home without her. Around 9:30ish, he rode Bear's bike up there, she started, so he tossed the bike into the back seat and drove home and parked. Yep, when he tried to start her up, she wouldn't do it. So, today he's got to see what the problem is.

Our big problem? My surgeon's appointment is here in Riverside at 9 a.m. and he has to be at work by 8 a.m. in Orange Park! *screams* Normally not that big of a deal, but it's rush hour both there and back. If he can't get Joan going, then we'll have to drop him off at 7:30 (not bad to be early on your first day) which should give us enough time to make it back before 9:00.

Of course, no matter what, I'm stuck taking all 3 kids to the appointment with me. Sharky insists they will behave. I pray they do. I will be beyond furious if they don't. *sigh*

TMI ALERT! The biggest scab on my topmost incision (yes, the one I keep having problems with) fell off last night when I got up and I was totally creeped out by it because the incision was still kind of wet and there was a slight hole. I got a large band-aid to put on it while I slept, just because. This morning, it looks a lot better, drier and the hole has filled up. It feels really, really weird. The scar tissue lump has thankfully shrunk to the size of the incision but the nerve endings are like raw and touching it (or my shirt grazing it) makes me feel it in the pit of my stomach. *shudders* Most likely, it's all psychosomatic. LOL
