After tearing up my bedroom looking for very small clothing (LOL) I finally found something passable for Jaxie to wear to the retreat. If she goes to the next one with me, I'll have to make her a dress. I painted her lips a perfect shade of nude/flesh/pink and then touched her eyes up with a bit of green. I repainted her nails green (they were blue) and then did her toes, but because my clear acrylic sealer dried up, I wasn't able to protect them and the paint wore off quick. (Picking some sealant up today.) I found a couple of small beads and added them into her braids. No, didn't braid her whole head, just parts. Will take a picture later to show you what I've done. Considered a nose piercing, but thought that might be a bit too much for right now.
OK, the above was a draft automatically saved after the computer wouldn't boot back up after the power outage this morning. Every time Bug tried to turn the battery back on, it all would shut down. When Sharky came home, he told Bug to try again and guess what? It worked! ROFL Guess it just needed to rest awhile?
Met Mom down in St. Augustine and she helped supply me with stuff for the weekend. We had a great time. Mom is such a nut, she got all excited when she found some bras in her size (a hard to find size). She actually tried them on over her shirt in the middle of the underwear aisle. I laughed too hard to think of whipping my camera out. She treated me to lunch at Crisper's and I had a Cobb Salad with shrimp. Delicious and quite generous in size.
Made Sharky call his Mom to wish her a happy birthday. OOPs, she wasn't home and Lorenzo told us her birthday is tomorrow. Hey, better a day early than a week late like last year.
Picked up a small bottle of acrylic sealant and finished up Jaxie's eyes, lips, and nails. She looks a lot better. It's not glossy but still has a wee bit of shine to it, very natural. I'm proud of the job I did.
I'm very excited about tomorrow. *squeals*
