Picked up a little Valentine cake at Publix, along with staple-type groceries. They had B1G1F sales on pasta and 4-packs of canned veggies. Good time to stock up.
Ran to the library and picked up a couple of books afterwards. Checked out The Birth of Venus by Sarah Dunant, Specimen Days by Michael Cunningham, and The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana by Umberto Eco. Very different than what I've been reading recently. LOL
Got a call from Sharky on my cell freaking out wondering where I was since I was hard to get a hold of and that never happens. LOL He had called home twice and left a message and then called my cell phone. Got me on the second try - I couldn't answer in the library.
Bug has an away soccer game today so I'll be picking him up this evening. He called and asked permission to go, I couldn't say no even if I did have a nice evening planned. He'll just have to have his dinner nuked when he gets home. LOL Yes, we'll save some cake for him. *wink*
Petunia came home with a bag of Valentines and candy and is quite happy. Lots of little notes from friends and a pretty pin from her teacher.
Tomorrow, I'm chaperoning a field trip and we're leaving very early in the morning and will be back in the afternoon. Pray for me - my body and sanity will be at risk. ROFLOL I'm planning on a hot bubble bath and a back/foot rub afterwards!
