Mailing a PCX to Finland this morning.
Gabby has chewed the fur on Malcolm - now my poor kitty has no ruff and no whiskers on one side of his face. Sharky keeps calling him "pin head". Yes, that ticks me off to no end. I cannot stop Gabby from grooming Malcolm, especially when Malcolm begs for it. *sigh*
Speaking of Gabby, made an appointment for her to go see the Vet's tomorrow and get a steroid shot to help her with her skin allergy. Luckily we've got a few bucks stashed away for extra meds too. Tomorrow is going to be busy, Petunia's orthodontist appointment is in the morning. She gets so excited about going! LOL
I'm getting ready to head to the library this morning. Ran out of books on Saturday. (See at bottom of page for list of books I've read this year.) Not sure what I'm going to get, I just walk along the stacks until I see something interesting. Willowbranch Library is so tiny, but I don't care. If I actually get to the point where I cannot find anything, I'll just go back to ordering them from other libraries and have them shipped to Willowbranch. Love that interlibrary loan system!
Made a date to see Mom next Monday. I couldn't remember if it was today or not but I spoke to her very early this morning and she said we had talked about it but never decided. We have to meet next Monday though, she bought Petunia some Valentine's and some other goodies. LOL
Not sure what we have planned for Valentine's, most likely just a nice dinner & dessert at home. (Want to have a nice dinner out for the big anniversary coming up soon.) Saw a recipe in Better Homes & Gardens for a simple to make but elegant chocolate cake (uses sour cream, etc.) that I'm thinking about either making myself or having one of the boys make. Want to have the kids send the relatives Valentines, but I'm thinking about making them and then having the kids decorate. Might be interesting...
