Mailing a PCX postie to the Netherlands today. Yesterday was my 2nd PostCrossing anniversary. Stats are sent 90, rec'd 93. Not sure how that all works out. LOL
Had to EMS $8 this morning. Bear never did find his missing school ID so it has to be replaced. So tired of this, he really needs to learn responsibility.
Last night, Sharky and I watched Team America: World Police (2004). Oh my, what do I say about this? OK, let's discuss the good stuff. The marionettes are great and the set details are awesome. They wasted no money making this movie look great. The mediocre stuff? Well, the plot for one. *shrugs* I do understand the satirical commentary they are making about patriotic movies, etc., but it kind of missed the mark for me. The editing is another sore point. They really had long moments of marionettes staring into space or at each other - too long really. IMO, the movie would have flowed better if they eliminated those long pauses. The worst stuff? Honestly, some of the worst stuff was the funniest. The "America, F*ck yeah" anthem was annoyingly catchy, the language was so filthy we couldn't help but giggle like middle school kids, and the sex? Well, it had the most raunchiest sex scene imaginable without genitals. What, you say? Believe me, it was freakishly bizarre. I rated this 2/5 stars because I cannot hate this movie and yet, I don't want to like it. LOL
