Ran some errands today. Stopped by the local doll shop to see if they had any Barbie-sized Kaiser stands and they were all out. The proprietor promised me they'd be ordering some soon and to stop back by. I was very disappointed in their stock - almost no Tyler or Gene or even Barbie - just fancy baby dolls, some older stuff, and lots of breakable knickknacks.
Thanks to my best friend who taught me how, I was able to get some concert tickets for my husband - RUSH! I really want to go, but it's on a Thursday night and where would I get a babysitter? C lives too far away for us to drop them off and then pick them back up and Mom is really just too far away. Most likely Sharky will take Mr. K with him - as a "thank you" for the concert that he took Sharky to a couple of years ago.
Shit, Sharky never asks for anything from me - other than kids that don't fight and a clean house, both of which are miracles and frankly I'm no Annie Sullivan - but sometimes, I can do something for him and I hope he's excited...
