Did a ton of errands today and am totally wiped out. I need to take a nap but I don't dare now, should have done it earlier. Don't want to oversleep and miss picking up Petunia.
Barbie Report!
1. I finally found the new (again) full size Barbies (not the newer hobbit ones) and picked up two when I found they had bendy wrists. I love the posing and attitude they can have. The Jazz Diva Barbies all were super posable but I could not afford them - these are more my speed. LOL Besides, these gals are beautiful.
2. I saw 3/4 of the new Fruity Top Models today at Wal-mart - Teresa, Summer and Nikki. They all have fruit motif outfits and extra hair pieces. I was not thrilled. IMO it combined an "adult" doll with little girl goofiness. Nikki is quite beautiful and I would have bought her - except, like the other dolls, she has some rooted hair on her head in orange (besides the multi-coloured hair piece). The orange went from top of one ear, around the neck, to the top of the other ear and while I guess I could have bought her to remove the orange hair and reroot in brown, frankly that is just too much for me right now. *sigh* BTW, this Nikki does not use Marisa's head mold - but I could not tell who's it was.
Swung by Pep Boys to take advantage of the oil sale they were having. Five quarts of Castrol Synth and a Framm oil filter for $15.99. Heck of a bargain - two deals were allowed so I bought two. I mean, oil doesn't go bad and Bailey is due for a change - always good to have enough for another one down the road. I am grateful that I remembered to bring the Sunday ad with me (that advertised the sale) because, of course, it wasn't in the computer and no one really knew anything about it. Stock people did - the ones that helped me find the stuff I needed, but the manager and cashier didn't know. *sigh* That place has really gone downhill since Sharky worked there many years ago.
