"Overslept" this morning. Woke up at 7:30 a.m. came out, was reading emails waiting for my coffee when I glanced at my calendar - OMG - Bug has his Saturday School today and has to be there at 8:00 a.m.! Woke him up and got dressed, jumped in the car at 7:50 and got him there in 6 minutes flat! Thank goodness there was no traffic, no red lights and no trains - and I didn't speed either. LOL

Have a LOT to do today. Going to drop off BCX books at Panera's, dropping off library books, and then mailing a bunch of packages at the Post Office and buying postcards there as well. Need to get off the computer and start working! *giggles*

We all watched October Sky (1999) last night and really enjoyed it. The casting was great, as well as the sets and costumes and of course, the countryside (it was filmed in TN) was beautiful. It's a sweet story of a boy who doesn't want to work in the coalmines like his dad, but wants to build rockets. It sounds rather cliche, but instead of being trite or sickly sweet, it works. Great movie for 8 or 9 year old kids and up.
