Went to Mom's for Bug's birthday party and had a great time. We had fried chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, and chips & dip. The deviled eggs and the birthday cake were a great hit. Gabby dog was thrilled when Bug finally came home. Unfortunately, Bug threw up late last night - he has a tendency to do that when he overeats and has a very stressful day (no matter how fun it is). He loved his present - the "Got Cheese?" t-shirt we had made for him.
Watched Bridge to Terabithia (2007) last night. I guess it was ok, I didn't like the characters and the family really frustrated me in the beginning but it turned out alright in the end. Kids enjoyed it though. No, my dislike had nothing to do with the subject matter (kids creating a fantasy world) or the more serious matter (death) but just the mundane things of distant, uncaring parents, etc.
School starts in 15 days. EEEK. *sigh*
