Take a look at this Fairy Ring we spotted at the Outlet Mall in St. Augustine today! We searched the whole area and it was the only one there. Pretty cool, huh?
Well, Bug is off at his grandma's now being spoiled rotten and loving every minute of it. They've already been to B&N and picked out one of his birthday gifts (a drawing set with mannequin) and went out to dinner at a little Italian restaurant (he had a stromboli). They are planning on also going to Ripley's Believe it or Not and boy is Bug excited over that! Yes, it's rather quiet here, but I won't complain. Poor Gabby is all freaked out because her boy is gone. *sigh* She'll get over it and he'll hug and kiss and squeeze her when he comes home this weekend.
Oh, and while I'm sharing pictures, I might as well show this one. It's half of a Fairy Ring that we spotted Wednesday in a church yard on Cherry Street, across from the Willowbranch Library. I wanted to get a closeup but couldn't - there was a huge lizard sunning himself on one of the mushrooms. Would have been a fab shot if I had a super telephoto lens!
We spotted this vintage Ford while coming back from the boys' school on Wednesday to pick up their report cards. Absolutely cherry and clean enough to eat off of.
Speaking of report cards, both boys did well - Bear has a 3.41 GPA and Bug had a 3.22. I'm very proud of both my sons. Got my fingers crossed that they will do even better next year...
