Watched Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963) last night. From all the hype, one forgets there really is a storyline. LOL Really enjoyed it. The costumes, the sets, the beautiful color - and a "young" Jessica Tandy as gorgeous as ever! Petunia was a bit disappointed ("It wasn't scary!") but I think the boys enjoyed it. I think I liked it more than anyone else. I didn't realize (or had forgotten) that Daphne Du Maurier had written the story.
Bug and Sharky made catfish tacos for dinner last night. Delish! Just some catfish nuggets rolled in cornmeal and fried, served in tortillas with salsa and a sprinkle of cheese - had some beans and rice on the side.
OMGS, I just opened the front door to look outside and was watching the purple finches and *gasp* a TUFTED TITMOUSE landed on the feeder, grabbed a seed and flew off! I am so excited! Mom had them all the time where they used to live (in St. Augustine near Grandpa) and I swear, I saw them before hopping on our maple tree, but this was the first actual confirmation I've had.
Have to go grocery shopping today. *rolls eyes* Wish there was a way I could just order stuff online and have it delivered. You know, log into a grocery store, compare prices, choose what I want, use coupons, etc., and then have them deliver it for free. Sure would be nice, especially on those days when you just aren't feeling "up to snuff." LOL
