Petunia lost another baby tooth today. Her big teeth are coming in fast.
Right now, it's 100°F outside with a "feels like" of 108.7°F. My poor pathetic a/c is cranking to keep our inside temperature at 80°F. Any cooler and it will blow up, any warmer and we'll melt. *sigh* The electric bills are gonna kill us if this keeps up.
We're keeping the water dish on the porch filled and all the birds, squirrels, and lizards are using it. Poor things, sometimes the birds look so hot. (They'll sit there and breathe with their beaks open, like panting.)
Yesterday evening, Bear came running in and said he heard noise next to his window. One of the freaking moron asshats next door was hacking on my crepe myrtle. Sharky yelled at him to stop and the guy said it was hanging over their property. WTF? Of course, it's a freaking crepe myrtle! What's it hanging over? Their empty DRIVEWAY. Their broken down crap car (that does not run and is on rotted tires) is in the front, the tree is in the back. Stupid fucks.
The big Harry Potter event is tonight. We're meeting C at a bookstore down south her way. I'm only taking the boys, Petunia is not interested in this. Well, she is, but not enough to stay up past midnight with crowds of strangers, etc. C is leaving her daughter with her dad too, so Petunia won't miss anything.
