Had fun today. Decided not to go to Save-a-lot. Kids really hate the place and it really is just draining on me.
We dropped a bunch of books off at Panera's for their Official Bookcrossing Zone. Then we took a very long time trying to figure out what to eat. LOL Bug had a honey bun, Bear had a sticky pecan roll, Petunia had a Crossroads Muffin (had everything in it, from fruits to nuts), and I had a toasted asiago cheese bagel with reduced fat cream cheese. *drools* We all shared a bite and everyone agreed that I had the best of all. LOL Service was a lot better than last time I was there.
Afterwards, we swung by the library to pick up a book that I ordered that came in: The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. Looks good.
Then went to Publix and did our shopping for today and tomorrow. Going to have crispy pork tacos for dinner tonight, using up the rest of the roast, and some refried black beans on the side. Delish!
When we got home, guess who was hopping around and peeping on the porch? The baby cardinal! I think he's decided to live here a while. LOL
