In a forum I sometimes hang in, people were talking about what colours were inappropriate for funerals. The more I thought about the question, the more I realized how I want my funeral to be: I love the Hawai'ian Aloha funerals and I love the attitudes of the New Orleans ones - so for my ceremony, I want to have a Florida feast with fried catfish, grits, pecan pie and key lime pie and everyone has to wear their most obnoxious Hawai'ian-like shirts (not just flowered, but half-naked girls doing the hula, pink 'mingoes, silly fish, etc.) or semi-offensive funny t-shirts, and play Jimmy Buffet music and let the margaritas flow...
Went to Old Navy with the boys and they split one $50 gift card. Bug bought t-shirts, Bear bought t-shirts and a pair of jeans. Old Navy does not have a changing room, so I guess and we picked out 30/30. He tried them on when we got home and *gasp* too tight/short! Going to exchange them for 32/32. LOL With tax, I only paid a little over 2 bucks out of pocket.
Went home, picked up Sharky & Petunia and went to Wal-mart. We decided to go to the one on 103rd. It's technically brand new, so it's still clean but I swear, they had the heat on. It was cooler outside than inside. Petunia had a $25 gift card, so she picked out another pair of sneakers (so she will have 2 new pair and alternate them) and with what was left, a really cute pajama set on sale. The boys each bought 2 pairs of sneakers. They had a $50 card so I told them that if they got 2 pairs, I would cover the overage up to $30 each. Worked out great because they each bought a pair costing $18 and $10, so I still paid less than $10.
