I laid in bed reading after the movie last night and Sharky and the boys played some new Linux games on the computer that he downloaded. (They were free games, but fun, with spelling and math quizzes.) After, he sent them to bed and read with me a while. Neighbours woke me up a few times but the noise was fleeting and I was able to get back to sleep fast.
When I first laid down, Malcolm jumped into bed too and walked over to me, wanting some affection. After petting him a bit, I wrapped my arm around him and made him lay down with me. He purred super loud and made biscuits on my pillow. It only lasted a few minutes (less than 5) but I let him up as soon as he wanted and he just walked down to my legs and then laid back down. I knew he was happy when he rolled over onto his side, scooted back so his back was against my legs, and stretched.
Had a hard time waking up but I think I'm ok now, after 2 cups of coffee. Oh, the coffee, btw, was a gift from my sDad - it's his fave blend that he gets at a Portuguese bakery down south. Absolutely delicious!
