Mom's birthday present to Bear arrived today. I'm going to go "shopping" tomorrow and pick up a couple of things for him. I have $7 left on my Kmart gift card (from when I bought my jeans last month or so) and I have a $10 Target gift card that the boys received from babysitting at the Ball - they gave me the card as an early birthday present so I could buy myself something. Sure was sweet of them, wasn't it? But as usual, I'm spending my money on my kids. Don't all parents do that? LOL My grandfather used to give me $50 for my birthday every year and I would save that to buy Yule gifts for the kids, but since he has passed away, I have to be more creative.
A lady on Freecycle had something I've been wanting and she's going to give it to me tomorrow. I haven't seen it and have no idea what it looks like (LOL) but it's my birthday present to myself this year. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow.
