Well, the hair is dyed and is quite red. Almost shocking! I used some Garnier mousse that I had to keep the waves in my hair and will probably just pin up the sides and let the rest fall where it may. lol

I'm now glittering my fingernails. Yummy!

I went thru my jewelry stash and am disappointed that I couldn't find my moon. But I did find my grandmother's amber, so I will be wearing that in honour of her tonight. I also found a little trinket to bring, one that is very appropo for the Ancestor's Altar that is being set up.

It's a tiny painting of a hummingbird that my grandmother painted - last night, at the Zoo, we were by the giraffe enclosure and were listening to a Barbershop quartet play under an arbor covered with vines and beautiful purple blossoms. All of a sudden, Bear exclaimed "Look, a hummingbird!" We walked around, and wouldn't you know, there was a hummingbird flitting from blossom to blossom. It was the tiniest thing you have ever seen, just slightly bigger than a bumblebee. You couldn't even tell it was a bird until it would go into a blossom and just rest, for a brief second, and then you could see the head, beak, body and tail. Finding the tiny picture my grandmother painted, makes me feel like she will be with me tonight.
