Tropical Storm Tammy is headed our way. It looks like (*knock on wood*) it will not develop into a hurricane and begone long before Sharky has to leave for his class in Orlando next week.

Today is early release Wednesday and it is very dark and stormy outside. I was hoping to get some errands done with the kids (return Bug's library book) but it all depends upon how bad it is.

Right now, I'm going to get dressed and head over to the east side of town to pick up "dozens" of old state maps that a lady wants to get rid of. I don't know what states they are, but I think they will come in handy with the kids and with my scrapbooking and Altered Book projects.

Speaking of scrapbooking, Bear is showing interest in starting one of his own. He's got lots of stuff in his "treasure box" that could go into a scrapbook. He wants to save up some money and buy one. I'm very glad he is interested in it, I think all the kids could have fun with a scrapbook.

Petunia's school pictures came home with her yesterday, so adorable! She is smiling, but she's making what she calls her "sweet smile" that doesn't show any teeth. Too bad, because her teeth are adorable, but oh well. The pics are great and I am happy.

I'm going to call Bear's school one last time to find out when their pics are going to be taken. If it comes down to it, I'll just take him to Walmart's photography studio and ask them to do a "school portrait" of him so we can have pics of him this year. I don't want to do that, would rather do it at school (because the school does recieve profits from it) but I cannot wait forever...
