Sharky got home early, about an hour ago. Early? Yeah, right. LOL At least it's not 10 or 11 p.m. Of course, the kids all polished off dinner and we didn't save anything for him - and he hasn't eaten since around 3:00 p.m. But he swore he wasn't hungry. He checked his email for a few seconds, laid down on the couch and proceeded to pass out. Poor guy, completely exhausted.

I've got a family movie for us to watch, but I want Sharky to watch it too - if he's this exhausted, he can't watch it. Oh well, might as well save it for tomorrow night. There really doesn't seem to be much of anything interesting on tv tonight, as usual. The boys are so into their Gameboys again, that they really don't care one way or another.

I want to work on my book, but don't want to get too involved in anything.

Petunia's ringworm is almost completely faded away, but I'm still putting medicine on it, twice a day as the doc said, just in case. Definitely do not want that coming back on us.

Tried one of those Banquet CrockPot meals tonight (chicken & dumplings). Very easy to make. Has 5 servings, but I tossed in a bag of frozen veggies near the end, just in case. Glad I did because the boys were quite hungry this evening. The chicken and dumplings were good, but not as good as the Sweet Sue brand in the can is. Actually, the best chicken and dumplings I have ever had was at PoFolks restaurant back in the 1980s. Cracker Barrel has the second best. But old Sweet Sue in the can is mighty good. LOL

Whoa, this is strange. I thought I'd give a link to Sweet Sue but there is no website. But, I did discover that Sweet Sue is made by Bryan Foods (you know, the sausage & cocktail weinie people) who is owned by Sara Lee Foods. I had no idea. I should have guessed - all food companies are related somehow. Big spider web of food. LOL

Can you believe I have NEVER had homemade chicken and dumplings? Seriously!
