I just made an interesting observation. Doing crafts makes me high. No, I'm not sniffing the glue or anything (ick!). There's an incredible feeling of accomplishment when I do something crafty and am pleased with the results. I should have realized this years ago - looking back, during the times when I was actively producing things, I was a lot less depressed than I was during other times. Too bad I can't bottle this...
