I had a pretty good night's sleep last night and woke up feeling rather good. I suspect one reason was that the neighbours were relatively quiet. Hmm, I wonder if that is good or bad? LOL

Tropical Storm Tammy is long past, but it is still rather dark out from the clouds - it sure doesn't look like 8 a.m. The rain is spritzing now, not enough to be actual rain, but just enough to be dangerous on the roads.

No more emails from Mrs. D (Bug's science partner's mother). *phew* I told Bug to try not to have that kid as a partner next time. I swear, from everything she said, I do not think her kid did a bit of work on the project. *rolls eyes* I hate pushy people, especially pushy parents.

I sent a note into school with Petunia yesterday, addressed to the PTA, wondering why I haven't heard from them after I had sent my dues in a month ago. They'll probably claim that they didn't recieve it. I should have sent a check instead of cash, but I hate checks.

Sharky took Petunia to school this morning. She loves his "late weeks" when he can take her. She's such a daddy's girl.

The kids wrote postcards to my Mom and sDad yesterday, I need to put them in the mail today. *pause* OK, they are addressed and stamped and ready to go and are at the mailbox. All 3 kids are working on new pics for the grandparents, but those will be mailed together and save a stamp.

Toby had another good night last night, stayed at the foot of the bed and no head sleeping. LOL What a relief. Sharky got mad this morning because he said it smelled like poop in our room, but I cannot find any - I think he was smelling the cat food near the door of the room. Yeah, wet (canned) cat food is some of the nastiest smelling stuff. Seriously.

Today is after-school band practice for Bear. He says the teacher is helping them with simple music to play at a football game. From what I understand, this school has not had a band in quite a while, so it will be very interesting. LOL Bear says he's doing a lot better at fingering the notes and is proud of his progress. I honestly do not know how well he is doing, but he's thrilled and enthusiastic, and after last year, I'll take it. LOL
