AB Update:
I am satisfied with the tissue paper I glued onto the peekaboo page. It looks very nice and has a good texture since I crumpled it first before flattening and gluing. I discovered that the rose pictures I had thought of using were too small to fit the peekaboo window, so I'm going back to the fairy idea instead.
I picked a spread and assembled the Ireland page - the fairy post card, Grandma's poem and the Gaelic blessing on the left and the old fashioned map on the right. Looks very nice.
The problem with AB is that I can only work on a couple of things at a time, because of the glue drying time involved. So, I guess a spread a day should be a goal to work towards? Or at least every other day. I might actually have the book done by the time Mom gets back to Florida. *fingers crossed*
I'm going to borrow Bug's markers now and colour in the fairy pic. At least it's something to do without glue. LOL
