Slightly irritated - waited until 8:45 this morning and Bear's friend's mother never showed up with the games. *sigh* I hope she shows up this afternoon or tomorrow or at least calls us.

Ran to Publix this a.m. When I came out of the store, there was a wonderful smell of cotton candy in the air! Seriously! It was really, really nice and kind of strange too. LOL I don't know where in the world it could have been coming from - the usual smell is fresh roasted coffee from the Maxwell House plant downtown.
I've been watching the new Martha Stewart Live show this week, it really is cute. She appears to be a bit nervous with off-the-cuff monologues (a lot of ''uhs'' thrown in) and it seems like she's trying to be more "down to earth" than before, but there is a lot of humour and fun stuff. I'm glad it's on - heck of a lot better than that horrid show "The View". Ick.

Got an email from Mom and sDad this a.m. Glad they finally got their computer up and running so I can send them pictures, etc. She mailed the money for me to pay for the flute with so I'm looking forward to picking it up this week.

Really cute thing happened yesterday. Malcolm was laying on the ground and I asked Bug to pick him up and bring him to me - I was on the recliner, resting a bit from a headache. Bug brought him over and I thought that Malcolm would, as usual, just let me hold him for a few minutes and then take off. Wrong! He laid on my lap for almost 15 minutes! It was a real love fest, it made me so happy. I've never had a cat before that acted like he loved me like Malcolm does. Malcolm always gives me the long slow blinks, like kisses, he actually gets excited sometimes to see me, and lately, he's been drooling when we are having our cuddle moment. (Stella's done that as well. I think the drooling is like a cat's Pavlov effect - mommy means food and food means saliva, etc. They are the only cats I have had that drool, so it's just a guess for now.)
