Pulling into the driveway after running some errands this morning, Bailey's odometer turned 40,000! I love my car.
TS Ophelia is really dumping wind and rain around here. Now it's looking like it will make a loop around after it turns east in a day or two. Not fun at all. People in Publix this morning were already freaking out buying supplies. I bought catfood. *sigh* Wait - they've changed it, now it looks like it will keep going east instead of turning south. *double sigh*
Sharky's been working at MC this week and closed last night and will close tonight. He's supposed to go to a school next week, but he told me it changed - not the time, but the place. I hope he finds out soon, I need to know how we are going to handle the vehicle concerns.
Mom called this a.m. She said waking up this morning and sitting on their porch having coffee was like being in heaven. The house is wood and glass and is so secluded that it does not have any curtains in it. It looks out over an inlet and she says the driveway to the house is surrounded by weird statuary - kinda like Edward Scissorhands. LOL! She was having fun watching the tiny red squirrels that live there run all around like crazy.
Four days in a row now that my blood sugar has been in the 120s. HURRAH! I gotta keep this up. It's probably more medicine related than diet.
