My Messed Up Meatloaf - a food funny

I've been craving meatloaf lately. I don't know why. hehehe

Well, my friend "C" gave me a couple of packs of Adolph Meat Loaf mix (she's a veggie, so who knows why she had them LOL). Instead of ground beef, I used a pound of ground turkey and a pound of ground turkey sausage. (Both brands I use have very little fat in them.)

When it was done, I drained off the little bit of fat in the pan and went to mix up the tomato topping.

OOPS! I guess the mix was a bit old because the powder had solidified. Ick. So I tossed it.

What to do? I grabbed a bowl and squeezed ketchup into it. I had a teaspoon of ketchup left. Uh-oh. So I grabbed some Lea & Perrins. OK, too worstershire-y. So I grabbed some Dat'l Do It Wing Sauce and threw that in too. HOTHOTHOTHOTHOT So I grabbed the kids' green ketchup and started squirting it in.

It was a greenish brown mess. But, it tasted good! LOL

After the last 10 minutes of baking, I let it sit, then dished it up. First bite, Bear yells into the kitchen "THERE'D BETTER BE SECONDS!"

So, we named it Mom's Hot Wing Turkey Meatloaf and I HAVE to make it next week. Sure hope I remember how! LOL
