Wednesday - Two Days Left of School

Called my mom yesterday and she was fine. I was rather freaked out by that dream, but nothing was wrong, thank goodness.

Slathered Petunia up with sunblock this morning. I got a good look at her and saw she had very pink cheeks and nose, different color than when she got home yesterday. Turns out the teachers are giving the kids up to two hours on the playground every day this week. If I had known that, I would have done this a lot earlier. Luckily she isn't getting that much exposure, or we would have seen the color a lot sooner.

We let Petunia stay up late to watch the season finale of Glee - her new fave show. (Luckily she got up bright, early and in a good mood this morning.) She was also excited to see they are bringing back the show this summer in reruns so we can catch up on all the ones we missed. Would have been loyal viewers from the start, but they ended up placing it opposite LOST.

I ended staying up until midnight, reading Anne Frank Remembered by Miep Gies. Very sad book, especially since everyone knows how it ends. It was interesting to see her point of view of the happenings, even after all those years. Mrs. Gies was an extraordinary woman, definitely an Hera for all of us...
