Saturday

Not much planned for this weekend other than Petunia attending an "end of the school year" pool party & sleepover. I hate her not being here (too overprotective, I know...) and will most likely not be sleeping well tonight.

Had a great day with everyone yesterday. Since I had coupons (LOL), we, as a family, went to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch/dinner. Kids loved it and Petunia ate a salad almost as big as her head. We got her to try a bunch of new veggies, including banana squash, and she really liked them.

Afterward, we went to Volde-mart for Rx pickup and to get Petunia a new bathing suit since she has outgrown all her others. She was a diva in the store. She had immediately decided she wanted a tankini, because she likes two pieces and coverage. We tried on a couple and discovered that she fell between sizes on the top. She was not happy that we had to go to a one piece. Then, of course, she didn't like any of the patterns we saw. Finally, found a glittery pink suit with silver trim that she was happy with. She was a lot easier going with flip flops and a new towel (on sale of course lol). She wanted new pajamas but we couldn't find any at all in the store (I know, wth?) but we did find a cute tank top and matching shorts ($3 ea piece) that could double as sleep/play wear.

I had more coupons (LOL) so after we left Volde-mart, we swung by Taco Bell to redeem them. No, not more food but their "Fruitista Freezes". I had two BOGO coupons and one freebie but when Sharky & the boys went inside (we figured this was too complicated for the drive-thru) the cashier complained that it was supposed to be "one coupon per customer". Sharky actually had to point out that he had 3 coupons and there were 3 of them. He then paid and left, leaving the boys to pick up the drinks. Don't blame him, I cannot stand blatant stupidity either. LOL The drinks were great though, and worth the cheap price and annoying hassle.
