Great Game!

Our guys lost, 5-2, but played an excellent game - even the referees complimented them on doing a great job. Those two goals were the first goals scored. LOL The other team was a private Christian school and the parents were very quiet until they heard us yelling and cheering the boys on - then they started to cheer their guys. ROFLOL

It was wet on the field (rained all night long) but the field was raised up and had excellent drainage, so there were no standing puddles and while the kids got grassy, none of them got muddy.

Afterwards, we all went to WaHo but unfortunately, they were packed. So was Cracker Barrel, so we ended up going to La Nopalera and had Mexican for lunch. We've got a new fave place, now! Absolutely delish. About the same price as the other Mexican places in town (like El Potro) but the serving sizes were awesome and the tastes were fab. The refried beans were the tastiest I've had in a long time. Sharky & Bug both had beef/chicken/shrimp fajitas, Bear & I had El Polla Burrito Especiale (mmm, smothered in queso blanco) and Petunia had a cheese quesadilla with beans and rice. Even their guacamole was good and I'm a hard one to please with that. We were all going to split ONE fried ice cream (seriously, there was no way for anyone to eat more than a bite or two LOL) but they were all out! (Horrors!) Maybe next time...

Sharky and the boys are out at a sports shop now getting more supplies - poor Bug didn't have the "proper socks". LOL
