Yesterday was quiet...

...and today will be as well. Temperature is a tiny bit warmer this morning but oh my, were my hips totally frozen this morning walking Petunia to school. Had to take "baby steps" there and back. Will be getting something to eat soon and then I'm going to lay down and let my hips rest.

On the way home, I spotted Roxy under a bush sleeping. Goodness, she was so cold that when she heard my voice, she woke up, stood up, and promptly tripped a couple of times trying to walk over to me. For the first time ever, I picked her up and cradled her against me. She tucked her head under my chin and sighed. After snuggling for a few minutes, I carried her over to her front steps hoping she'd go into the porch where it was warmer, but she acted like she wanted to follow me home.
