Last Day of Vacation

For the kids, tomorrow school starts. HAH.

Yesterday went well. Took a couple of hours and 2 or 3 trips to the hardware store to get the faucet fixed, but now there are no leaks. *phew* Discount Music on Blanding was closed as we feared (holiday) but I got Mom to choose a book on Amazon that she wanted (the EZ Play Beatles Songbook) and bought it for her. She should get it in the mail by the end of the week *fingers crossed*. We brought two frozen Stouffer's lasagnas (5 cheese and vegetable) and they actually liked the vegetable one better, surprising both of them. LOL (I told them they would like it!)

We were all tired when we got home and I slept like a log.

Not much planned for today, other than a trip to go grocery shopping. Petunia has homework to do (make animal and plant cell cookies - seriously) and clothes need to be washed. Ugh. We also need to "disassemble" the tree and the decorations and get them packed away for next year.

BTW, when we woke up this morning around 8:00 a.m., it was 30.2°F with a "feels like" of 20.2°F. Egads!
