Its Finally Friday and I'm still here. LOL

Some weeks just fly by, others crawl. Some fly and crawl and are very confusing because weeks have neither wings nor feet. Hahaha.

Its cold today. Woke up around 5:00 a.m. and it was in the 50s and now, its 44.6 °F with a feels like of 38.8 °F. Wow. Always a bit of a shock when it starts to get colder as the sun rises.

Petunia's recital (?) went great last night. Got to see a lot of kids performing drums, dance, piano, arts & crafts (on display) and of course, the drama troupe reading "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." She did an excellent job and was only one of a few that actually memorized her lines. She "messed up" once which she said was embarrassing, but I told her she did a great job recovering and that other kids had "goofs" too and it was all normal. She really wants to go back next semester - I hope she can. If she can't do drama, then there are other classes there that she would love as well.

"Life is mostly froth and bubble,
Two things stand like stone,
KINDNESS in another's trouble,
COURAGE in your own."

- Adam Lindsay Gordon (1833-1870)

Just found out, via Wikipedia.org and IMDB.com that Edward Woodward, who played my fave "pagan" Ghost of Christmas Present in the 1984 version of A Christmas Carol (although he's most famous for The Wicker Man), died last month at the age of 79. RIP Edward...
