The first day of WINTER BREAK!

The kids are estatic. I'm not. LOL Sharky tried to wake the boys up this morning but they weren't falling for it. Petunia woke up about 7:00 a.m. and is already on the computer. (She knows that if she doesn't get her time in asap, she'll miss out. *sigh*)

The mammogram went well yesterday, not much pain, just uncomfortable with my chest muscles being pulled every which way, making them feel like they ran a marathon without me. Amazing technological advances though. When I last had a mammogram 2 1/2 years ago, the machine would have filled up 1/2 my kitchen. The one yesterday would have taken up 1/2 my fridge. Wow. The lady was nice too, and was gentle as she could be in that situation. I felt like a Barbie doll being dressed by Petunia. LOL

Spent a horrible time afterwards in Volde-mart attempting to get my new Rx filled. Of course, the pharmacy had NO records of the meds being sent there and my doc's office said it was all faxed and electronically sent. Had to have the nurse physically call the pharmacy to get it done and of course, the 90 day supply I was going to get was winnowed down to one month instead due to miscommunication. *rolls eyes* I start my new medicines today and hopefully the withdrawals from the old will be slight. *fingers crossed*
