Busy Day

Took Sharky to work this morning so I could have the car. Petunia had her 6 month orthodontist check up, she's doing fine and has to wear her retainer for another 6 months. Then they will do an x-ray and see how everything is coming along.

Dropped her off at school and ran to Kmart in search of a present for Sharky's birthday tomorrow. No go, all out. Called Walmart and they were out of it as well. Mom says that Walgreens might have them, so I'll stop this evening and see. No, I'm not saying what it is because Sharky is sometimes sneaky and reads this blog. LOL

Ran next door to Shep's, a deep-discount store that is a total hoot to go to. Found two awesomely trashy pirate figurines that I'm going to repaint for my Mom and sDad for Yule. LOL They are going to love it - they love pirate stuff, they love it when I "alter" stuff for them, etc.

Then, I was a really good girl (roflol) and treated myself to FRIED CHICKEN LIVERS at Church's Chicken! They cook upon order so they were fresh and hot, and were still too hot to eat when I got them home. Mmm, mmm, good!
