Wow, feels like Florida again...

Just got home from walking Petunia to school - it's 80.6 °F, with a "feels like" of 86.8 °F and humidity of 84%. So, it doesn't feel very hot, but I'm drenched like I was in a sauna and not in a good way either. *sigh*

Today's forecast: PARTLY CLOUDY. PATCHY FOG EARLY IN THE MORNING. A 20 PERCENT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 80S. NORTHEAST WINDS 5 TO 10 MPH.
Yes, Petunia is back to school today, thank goodness. She slept almost all day yesterday, with me waking her up to drink water and eat. She was a little warm this morning, but no where near as bad as yesterday. She was in a good mood this morning but I know she'll be in a very bad mood this afternoon with all the homework to make up from yesterday.

Speaking of homework, Bear had to do a quick mini-report on a US President yesterday. He told me "All the good ones were taken, so I chose Taft 'cause he was the fattest." Lovely. *rolls eyes* Bear did have us cracking up all night as he was pulling odd factoids out about Taft.

I have a lot to do to get ready for the camping trip tomorrow. Get out my clothing and bedding and wash it, and pack up my bags with whatever I'll need for 2 days. Since we're all chipping in a bit, I believe I was chosen for breakfast on Saturday, so I will have to make sure I pick up some stuff at the store for that, along with food to tide Sharky and the kids over with while I'm gone.
