Busy day yesterday
Dropped the boys off at the shuttle stop, took Sharky to work, came home, Petunia finished her homework (*sigh*), then I took her to school and ran to Volde-mart.
Ugh. Volde-mart workers are such slugs. Don't know where anything is, don't know how to find something and don't know how to ask someone higher up if that thing is even carried at that store. So frustrating. I shouldn't have gone, should have gone somewhere else...
Wanted play sand for the altar candles, ended up with plain clay kitty litter instead. No waste, it will get used, so... *shrugs* Wanted colored candles, all they had were the "seasonal" colors, not what I wanted, and all but plain white were scented. Yeah, that's what I need, multi-scents stinking everyone out at once. *rolls eyes* So, ended up purchasing plain white non-scented candles four clear votive holders for $0.64 each (made in the USA by Anchor too, great buy) and thought about painting them. Ended up making gluing a button border in the quarter colors around each votive. Think it turned out rather nicely for a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing. Will have to take pics of it later today if I remember.
Sent the ritual to both Z and C. Z loved it, C said she was only able to read the beginning before she had an errand to run, but really liked it and would get back to me today about it. So far, the Willow Grove ladies who've read it have really liked it. I keep reading my parts over and over, out loud, to practice it. Would love to have it memorized but doubt I'll get that accomplished. Might use small note cards (cue cards) to help me out with it.
