Thursday's musings

There is nothing good on television on Tuesday or Wednesday nights and yet 2 channels put up great shows against each other on Thursdays. That sucks.

Woke up this morning and my right lower eyelid was swollen - still is. Must have rubbed or scratched it in my sleep.

The top of my left foot feels like someone rubbed it raw with sandpaper. Damn neuropathy...

Screwed up royally yesterday by eating something I shouldn't have. Killer headache. Too scared to test my blood sugar, probably would have given me a heart attack. Good thing though, now that I ate it and got sick, I have no desire to eat it again.

Oh, yesterday morning, Z and I put down the deposit on the cabins for our Women's Retreat. Yeehaw! Only a couple of weeks away.

Next door neighbors are moving. Drat. Hate to see who the slum lord will be moving in next. *sigh* Going to stay positive and send out good vibes for a quiet family. *fingers crossed*

My Confederate Jasmine arbor is covered with Morning Glory flowers. Gorgeous. Keep forgetting to take a picture of it though. As soon as the Morning Glory vine (wild, btw) stops flowering, I have to cut it down before it strangles my Confederate Jasmine. Eeep.

Yesterday afternoon, I walked past the Lizard Kingdom and tickled a lizard on it's belly. It was funny - it held really still until I stopped and then it LEAPED into the grass. Wonder what it must have thought of me?

Turns out, according to her human mom, Gray Fuzzy (kitty on the block over) is not preggers, as Petunia and I had feared, just fat. Thank Bast. She lurves her some tummy scratches though. I walked up to her this morning and she got so excited, she was sitting up right but doing those little body wiggles that show happiness. I petted her and she flopped down and rolled over so I could rub her belly. She is just too cute.
