Sunday...

Yesterday was a fun day. PB picked me up and we ran over to Earths Gifts to browse (2nd time in one week for me, lol). She wanted to pick up a book she had been wanting and I needed to get an eye dropper cap for my new bottle of tea tree oil. They must have rec'd a new shipment into the store because there was a ton of new stuff to look at.

It rained all day long yesterday, but it was a really good rain that we needed.

Sharky and Petunia went with Cousin G to look at a car on the Northside but unfortunately, it turned out to be a no-go. Cousin G though, raided his pantry and gave us a ton of home-made canned goods - some of Sharky's fave things like pickled veggies & jalapeños!

When I got home (before Sharky and Petunia came back), Bear sat me down and said he wanted to talk to me. He confessed that the young lady who had been calling him was his girlfriend and that they are "going together." She wanted to spend more time with him and wanted him to go over to her house. Luckily, she only lives a couple of blocks over. Sharky and I talked about it and we spoke to her mom to make sure it was ok for him to go over (and that there would be a parent there), so that is where he is today for a few hours. HOLY GUACAMOLE. My son had a girlfriend. *grabs smelling salts*
