Friday!
Poor Petunia complained of a tummy ache last night and vomited a little. She told me this morning she vomited a couple more times during the night. I talked to Sharky about it and am keeping her home today. A friend of hers in school was sick with something like this a couple of days ago, so I'm hoping that is all it is. To be on the safe side, I went to the CDC website and looked up the symptoms of the H1N1 Flu (which has been found numerous times in Jax):
What are the signs and symptoms of this virus in people?Well, she doesn't have a runny or stuffy nose, cough or sore throat, but I will keep my eyes on her, just in case. Worse, I'm feeling rather nauseated myself and had just chalked it up to that time of the month - goodness, I better be NOT SICK by tomorrow. Going to light a candle now...
The symptoms of 2009 H1N1 flu virus in people include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. A significant number of people who have been infected with this virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting.
