Where is the rain?

We've been waiting for the rain all day long but it's no where to be seen. The temperature here is 91.4°F but it's a "feels like" of 103.1°F. OMGs. I hope the rain shows up after Sharky gets home. It's so scary to know he's riding a motorcycle home in the rain with all the crazy drivers out there.

Oh, my FB friend's husband sent me a message saying that she had a virus and would be back soon, then he locked me out too. So, either they both had a virus or they both are scared of being friends with me. Either way sucks.

Thank goodness our phone was hooked back up today. The boys' school called to make sure they were attending since they missed orientation. I informed them that they missed it because we didn't know about it until after the fact. Good news, Bear successfully finished Algebra and is promoted to the 11th grade. *phew* What a relief.

Also got a bizarre call from the mortgage company thanking us for our payment of X amount (the new amount coming into effect next month) but our payment doesn't go in until 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (automatic bank debit). When I tried to ask the woman about it, she got all flustered - of course, the call center is in India and she was almost incomprehensible. I got all the paperwork informing us about the switch and called back. Frustrating - the telephone number on the paperwork was disconnected (postmarked just 2 weeks ago!) but the number I was referred to did work. Got another woman in India but this one had a better hold of English than the first. Turns out, someone (!?!?!?!) made either a cash or a check payment today on our mortgage. WTF? [Who would have made a payment (who has enough money?) and who the heck has our mortgage information?] AND they are going to still pull the money out of the bank tonight - not at the old amount but the new one (that doesn't take effect until September) and while I kept asking over and over and over, the customer help center lady could NOT explain why or change it. When I told her that we only had enough money for the original payment amount, not the new one since it wasn't going to happen until September, she just kept saying, "OK, no problem!" ARGH!
