Too tired Tuesday

Had a hard time waking up this morning. Forgot to make Sharky's lunch again, dang it.

Because of all the rain recently (and the heat), palmetto bugs are showing up again:

• Last week, a palmetto bug flew and hit Petunia who screamed and flung it off and it hit Sharky who screamed and flung it across the room. Took two boys freaking out to kill and dispose of the stupid thing. Malcolm was terrified and it took a while to calm Petunia down.
  
• A couple of nights ago, a palmetto bug was spotted by the fireplace during dinner. Bug used Bear's shoe to kill it and then Bear was a total whiny baby about disposing of it. Petunia almost lost it.
  
• This morning, Petunia gets up and starts screaming and crying because there is a palmetto bug in the hallway and she has to go to the bathroom - it's blocking her path. I told her to jump over it. *rolls eyes* Bug saw it and killed it with Bear's shoe (again) and then demanded that Petunia dispose of the carcass. He got pissy when I told him to just scoop it up with some toilet paper and flush it.
  

I'm looking forward to palmetto bug season being over with. *rolls eyes*
