Didn't get to bed until late last night, but slept deep and hard, just what I needed. Went to the store yesterday and the kids actually helped for once.

Sharky is totally exhausted this morning from all the hard work he did on Ethyl yesterday. His friend, J, showed up and helped him flip the truck bed over onto the picnic table to be worked on later. Thank goodness he has a friend to help with all the heavy stuff like that! He's got a lot of work to be done on the engine, and yes, some parts to buy, but that will have to wait since this is our "broke" month, saving up to pay insurance bills in August. *sigh*

Going to finish my Mom's pots today, plan on having the kids to a last bit of distressing paint and then we'll paint the bugs. Fun! LOL I will take pictures to post on my art blog and will let y'all know about it so you can see them.

No. I've seen the Shuttle lift off from a distance (vapour trail) but never up close. I would like to take my kids to Cape Canaveral one of these days. Silly Me Trivia - I won a lollipop from the teacher in 1st or 2nd grade because I was the only kid who knew Cape Kennedy's original name was Cape Canaveral. LOL Spent a few years in Central Florida (before migrating south) and one of my fave memories is sitting (actually jumping up and down in excitement) on Cocoa Beach watching the rocket to Mars lift off. Wow, it seems like there were rockets taking off all the time back in the mid-1970s...
