Good morning. I slept hard last night, went to bed a little after 9:00 p.m. My arm still hurts (from the pinched nerve and the blood draw) but it is a lot better than it was yesterday.
Sharky picked up a bulb on the way home, and when he got here, Bug helped him change it. (Sharky did the work, but let Bug sit in the driver's seat to help him check out the rest of the lights.) A relative of the nasty neighbours stopped by and wanted to know if Sharky was interested in a free truck. (Strange, huh, the neighbours and immediate friends are morons but the extended ones are nice, like the one who helped Bear and I bury Spot.) Sharky said he'd think about it and talk to him later. No, we don't need another truck, but a free one could be parted out for money or barted for other parts needed for Ethyl or if it just needs a bit of tiny work, he could sell it outright. I guess we will see what happens...
I went to the McDonald's website and sent them a complaint about yesterday's egg mcmuffin. I'll post if I hear anything back from them.
We might have an adventure tomorrow. My best friend (and the kids' fairy godmother) C is taking us out and then probably to lunch. I hope I have the stamina to keep up. C is a wiry little thing and moves fast, where I am more turtle like in my old age. *sigh* I'm going to bring my camera (and extra batteries lol) and hopefully will be able to take some fun pictures.
Looks like the 4th of July is all set. Sharky has the day off, thankfully. Won't do much, but will see Mom and Dad so we can give Mom her birthday presents and Dad his father's day card (since the father's day picnic was cancelled because Mom was so sick). Kids are looking forward to seeing them. Bug might stay the weekend with them as well. That will be nice.
