Tuesday

Yesterday was quiet, with my feet hurting most of the day. Left at my usual time to pick up Petunia at the bus stop just to find the bus was 15-20 minutes early! She and the other kid were standing there and the bus was long gone. Wow, I guess there wasn't much traffic with the rest of the schools out. Glad I don't have to worry about that the rest of this week.

Petunia did the last of her laundry last night and packed her bags. We dropped her off at her school this morning at 5 am (we were up at 3:30 am) after a quick stop at Walgreens for camera batteries. She is so excited about this trip, and I don't blame her. Sure wish I was going. She texted me when their bus hit the road and said she was turning her phone off to conserve batteries.

Sharky and I had a bagel for breakfast and are now just "chilling" (hah, easy to do with no a/c, right?), waiting for the work day to begin.
